What we don't collect: We do not collect your Steam username (profile name), email address, real name, profile picture, game library (other than implicitly needing ATS/ETS2 for achievements), friends list, or any other personal information from your Steam account beyond your Steam ID, nor directly from you unless specified above.

  • Authentication: To securely log you into your account on Truck Sim Achievements using your Steam ID.
  • Service Provision: To associate your tracked achievement progress data (including task completion status) for ATS and ETS2 with your unique account (Steam ID).

  • Storage: Your Steam ID, associated achievement tracking data (including task progress), and any optional custom notes you create are stored securely in our website's database.
  • Security: We implement reasonable technical and administrative security measures designed to protect your stored data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  • Retention: We store your Steam ID, associated achievement data, task progress, and custom notes for as long as you maintain an active account on Truck Sim Achievements. If you delete your account (see Section 8), we will permanently delete all this data from our active systems in a timely manner.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

  • Steam: When you log in, you interact directly with Steam's authentication service. Steam has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. We recommend you review Steam's Privacy Policy. We only receive the Steam ID from Steam as authorized by you.
  • Other Third Parties: We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Steam ID with any other third parties for their promotional purposes. We will only disclose your Steam ID if strictly required by law (e.g., responding to a valid subpoena or legal process).

Since the only other personal data is your Steam ID, which you already know and which originated from Steam, further portability mechanisms are limited.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for us processing your Steam ID and storing your optional interaction data (like notes and task progress) at any time by deleting your account via your user account settings page.
